Sound Design in a different way
Sound design doesn't have many walls or barriers that you MUST abide by. You can literally take your smart phone and go out and record yourself hitting a metal dumpster, a light post, your desk.... I think you see where I'm going with this. If you can record something - you can edit that sound and turn it into something magical.
I stumbled upon this video while browsing Facebook and it immediately caught my attention. I love seeing other creators doing what they love and making something out of nothing; which is what sound design is all about! As sound designers, we get to literally create magic with the power of sound.
